Civil Process/Warrants

The Warrant / Civil Process Division is located In the Sheriff’s Office inside the Dixie County Courthouse at:
214 NE Highway 351, Suite L Cross City, Florida 32628.

IMPORTANT NOTICE CONCERNING OUT-OF-STATE SERVICE:
All Service of Process is performed under Florida Statutes. If your state requires a different service/or an affidavit other than the one we provide, you will have to use other means for service, such as a private process service. If you have any questions, please call our office before sending your process.

Fees for service of civil process are set forth by Florida Statute 30.231 and are non-refundable.

Summons or Writ, except Executions, $40.00
Witness Subpoena $40.00
Writ of Replevin $90.00
Writ of Possession $90.00
Writ of Attachment $90.00
Writ of Bodily Attachment $90.00

Levies: A reasonable cost deposit to cover levy fees and expenses concerning the requested services shall be deposited in advance. By Florida Statute 30.231(2), deposits may vary if additional services are required to complete a levy. Contact Civil Process for more details.
